Full performance of raga Jhinjhoti. The Alap lasts for approx 25 minutes.

Raga Yaman. Two videos - the first is the Alap, with some extending passages; the second is the Gat, or melodic fragment which forms the basis for the improvisation. Somewhat unorthodox, in that there is a pause between the two videos (it is one performance) but shows how much of an exploration of a raga can take place in a performance.
